Adding the GARAN-Label and legal guarantee notice in xt:Commerce
xt:Commerce already has a ready-made solution: a free plugin handles generating and adding the GARAN-Label automatically.
As of 9 July 2026, no official solution from xt:Commerce itself is known. Unlike most other platforms, though, xt:Commerce already has a ready-made, free plugin solution built by an experienced xt:Commerce partner. The legal requirement for the legal guarantee notice, and for the GARAN-Label where a manufacturer guarantee applies, still applies from 27 September 2026 regardless.
Free plugin for xt:Commerce
The plugin was built by the long-standing xt:Commerce partner 4TFM and is available free of charge. You can get it in two places:

The plugin uses the GARAN-Label.com API. You still need an account with credits with us for this; the plugin itself doesn't replace registration.
How the integration works
First, create an account at GARAN-Label.com and top up your credit balance, since the plugin uses the API to generate labels. After installing the plugin, enter your personal API key from your account in the plugin settings.
From there, activate GARAN-Label generation for each product as needed. If required, you can override the manufacturer name and guarantee duration (in years) for that product individually. Your shop then generates the label automatically via the API and stores it on your own server. Displaying it on the product page can also be activated with one click.

Legal guarantee notice or GARAN-Label: which do you need?
The legal guarantee notice is mandatory for all products and free of charge. The GARAN-Label is only additionally required if you advertise a voluntary manufacturer guarantee of more than 2 years.

Yes. The plugin uses the GARAN-Label.com API, which still requires an account with credits. The plugin itself doesn't replace registration.
Can I override the manufacturer name or guarantee duration per product?
Yes, and it's often necessary: many xt:Commerce stores don't use xt:Commerce's own manufacturer page system. Without stored manufacturer data, the name and guarantee duration can be entered directly on the product and overridden there at any time.
Is there an official solution from xt:Commerce itself?
None is currently known. A free plugin already fills that gap, though.
